Filler words are not the problem. Unplanned silence is.
Most people say "uh", "um", "like" and "actually" because they are buying time. The fix is not panic. The fix is a better pause.
uh / um
Replace with a silent pause. Look at the listener, breathe, then continue. A pause sounds more confident than a filler cluster.
like
Use "for example" when you mean example. Use "approximately" when you mean estimate. Remove it when it adds nothing.
basically / actually
Use "in simple terms" or "more precisely" only when the phrase earns its place. Otherwise, cut it.
