Plain-English privacy: what we collect, how long we keep it, and how to delete it - because a promise about your recordings needs a policy behind it.
The little we need
Your email (to sign you in), the takes you choose to save (transcript + feedback), and basic usage so we can improve the product. That's it - no contacts, no tracking you around the web.
Private recording recovery
Submitting a take uploads audio for transcription and feedback. When saved-analysis recovery is enabled, we keep a private server copy, including for guests, before starting analysis. Background retries require your confirmation and run for up to two hours. Recovery audio is normally deleted 24 hours after completion, cancellation or final failure, within the configured retention limit of up to 72 hours. Unconfirmed failed recovery copies expire after 30 minutes. Your browser may also keep a local recovery copy until you finish or discard it.
Export or erase, anytime
Download your archive or delete your account from Account -> Privacy. Delete means delete - transcripts and any saved replays go with it, and we confirm within 30 days.
What we never do
- We don't sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to anyone.
- We don't train on your voice without your explicit opt-in.
- We don't judge your accent. We measure whether you're understood - Indian English is the default reference.
- We don't see your card. UPI and card payments run through a licensed gateway.
Who processes what
To turn speech into feedback we use a speech-to-text service and a language model, sent only the audio/transcript needed for that take. We do not include your account identity in the analysis request. Temporarily retained recordings follow the recovery window above. If you request email delivery, we send the written report and a private link to your account email or an address you verify; this does not subscribe you to marketing.
Email we send you contains a small invisible image, so we can see whether a message was opened and how often. It tells us which lessons are worth writing and which are ignored. It records the fact of an open and the time - never what you do afterwards, and never anything about you elsewhere on the web. Blocking images in your mail app stops it completely, and nothing about your account changes if you do.
